A unique wine bar has made its way to South Florida. Barrell Wine and Cheese is a new tapas restaurant offering gourmet cheese, wine tastings and upscale lunches.
The bar offers a large selection of mainstream boutique kosher wines from around the world. It allows customers to taste new wines to ensure they’re truly getting the bottles they seek. Their self-serve wine tasting allows customers to use a pour system to either try a sample, half glass, or full glass of over 50 wines available.
Barrell Wine and Cheese also includes “build your own” cheese boards, with custom spreads to ensure ideal pairing with the wine. They come paired with jams, honeys, and other accoutrements with a side of a baguette or crackers.
Barrell Wine and Cheese prides itself on having a host of wine experts to design the ideal flavor profile and food pairing to meet the desired experience.
The bar offers tapas, which can also be paired with wine. Some examples include Potato Galleta, which are crispy potato pancakes topped with melted camembert and creme with stoneground honey mustard sauce and green apple, in addition to a Croque Monseiur, which is Sourdough toast with creamy bechamel sauce, smoked salmon, and herbed goat cheese topped with melted gruyere.
Barrell Wine and Cheese is located at the Artsquare complex, 419 N. Federal H. in Unit #104, Hallandale Beach, FL.
It’s kosher-certified by the ORB and is Cholov and Pas Yisroel.
The bar is open from Sunday to Thursday, 11 a.m. – 10:30 p.m., Friday until 3 p.m., Saturday from 7:30 p.m. until midnight.
