Tel Aviv’s beachfront has a new kosher meat restaurant. SIMO, a grill house built around skewers and prime cuts cooked over an open mangal, was operating by late October 2026 in the promenade space where the Yotvata dairy restaurant operated for decades. The new restaurant keeps the focus on meat, with skewers, prime cuts, and a full bar overlooking the beach.
The Space
SIMO is named for the owner’s grandfather. The restaurant spans three floors directly on the promenade, first line to the sea, with the dining room facing the Mediterranean. The upper level serves as a private events space for up to 200 guests, with the sea as its backdrop, and the venue takes bookings for simchas and corporate events through its site.

The Menu
The kitchen is built around the open mangal, and the format follows the Israeli shipudia tradition: skewers and grilled meats, preceded by a spread of salads and fresh laffa from the taboon that is brought to every table at the start of the meal (36 NIS per diner with skewers or a main course, 42 NIS without). Skewers anchor the menu – kebab, pargit, and entrecote – alongside arayes, prime cuts sold by weight, and fish. Download the full bilingual menu (PDF); it is also embedded below.

| Item | Price (NIS) |
|---|---|
| House spread of salads and fresh laffa (per diner) | 36 with skewers or a main course, 42 without |
| Baladi eggplant | 45 |
| Veal cigars | 48 |
| Hummus variations | 32-48 |
| Sweet potato steak | 41 |
| Kebab or pargit skewer | 46 |
| Arayes | 60 |
| Veal sweetbreads | 110 |
| Entrecote skewer | 80 |
| Prime cuts (picanha, sirloin), per 250 grams | 180-260 |

A full bar serves cocktails and wine alongside the food menu, which is printed in both Hebrew and English for the promenade’s mix of locals and tourists.
