Amazon just changed how Prime members order food delivery. As of today, November 5, Uber Eats is the restaurant delivery partner for Amazon Prime in the United States, replacing Grubhub. To launch the partnership, Prime members get $20 off each of their first two Uber Eats orders of $25 or more.
The Deal
Prime members get $20 off each of their first two Uber Eats restaurant orders of $25 or more placed through Amazon.com or the Amazon Shopping app. The promotion works for both delivery and pickup orders, which makes it useful even if you live near the restaurant.

The offer runs through November 18, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST. The $25 minimum is calculated before taxes and fees, and after other discounts are applied. The offer is limited to two orders per account. DansDeals tested the promotion and found it stacks with restaurant buy one, get one free offers. Their test order of $52 in food came down to $6.94 with pickup after the discounts.
To get started, Prime members can visit amazon.com/ubereats or search for Uber Eats in the Amazon Shopping app. No Uber account is needed. Orders are placed with an Amazon login and paid with the payment methods already saved to the account.
After the launch promotion ends, the benefit continues. Prime members pay no delivery fee on Uber Eats restaurant orders of $25 or more placed through Amazon. Service fees still apply. Prime Visa cardmembers also earn 5 percent back on Uber Eats orders through December 5, 2026.
Amazon Ditches Grubhub
The Uber Eats launch marks the end of Amazon’s partnership with Grubhub. Amazon first added Grubhub as a Prime perk in 2022 and made the free Grubhub+ membership an ongoing benefit in 2024. New Grubhub+ activations through Prime ended today. Members who already activated Grubhub+ through Prime can keep using that membership through December 31, 2027.

The old Grubhub+ benefit offered free delivery on eligible orders over $12, lower service fees, and 5 percent credit back on pickup orders. The new Uber Eats benefit requires a $25 minimum and does not discount service fees.
Orders placed through Amazon are separate from your Uber account. That means Uber One benefits do not apply and Uber gift cards cannot be used. DansDeals found that if you already pay for Uber One, you may still come out ahead ordering through the Uber app on orders that do not qualify for the $20 promotion. You will want to keep the Uber app installed.
Amazon told TechCrunch it ended the Grubhub agreement after finding an opportunity to deliver a better restaurant delivery experience. Uber Eats brings one of the largest restaurant networks in the country, covering nearly 10,000 cities and towns. Prime members can share the no delivery fee benefit with one other adult in their household through Amazon Family.
What This Means for Kosher Consumers
Uber Eats carries a wide range of kosher restaurants in major metros, from pizza shops and sushi spots to full service dining. The promotion applies to pickup orders too, which is helpful for readers who live or work near kosher restaurants.
Readers ordering through third party apps can review the cRc guidelines for ordering kosher food safely on Uber Eats and similar apps.
The benefit is open to all Prime members, including Prime for Young Adults and Prime Access members.
