NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2024 Kosher Restaurants

NYC Restaurant Week is back this Summer

NYC Restaurant Week returns this winter for a few weeks starting July 16 through Sept 1st. You’ll find prix-fixe menus at hundreds of the City’s best restaurants in neighborhoods across the five boroughs, except ONLY TWO participating restaurant are kosher certified.

1) UN PLAZA GRILL

This year, UN Plaza Grill is at it again, but is not the only kosher restaurant participating in this special promotion. Here’s their description on the NYCRW website: “Midtown East’s UN Plaza Grill makes New American kosher food with international influences, reflecting its location across the street from the United Nations. Find steak, grilled salmon, Mediterranean salads, and a number of lighter shareable bites that are good for happy hour.”

The pre-fixe meal will be $70 per person for 3 courses and include options off of this special menu. Prices do not include tax and tip.

UN Plaza Grill will be participating on weekdays (M-Th) through Sept 1st 2024. The restaurant is closed Fridays and Saturdays.

The restaurant is located in Midtown East at 845 United Nations Plaza, and is glatt kosher certified by the OU. Click here for reservations.

2) TSION CAFE

Second, we have Tsion Cafe up in Harlem. The cafe describes itself as “a welcoming restaurant and bar that hosts live music, art receptions and community events in Sugar Hill, part of NYC’s historic Harlem neighborhood. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, pescetarian or omnivorous, they’ve got something tasty for you. Tsion Cafe specializes in Ethiopian, Israeli, and Middle Eastern cuisine and offers a full bar of international beers, wines and cocktails to pair with their delicious dishes (or to enjoy by themselves). Enjoy the patio with a friend. Also, Tsion caters to groups on-site and off-site.”

The restaurant is kosher certified pareve by RAM Kosher.

The restaurant is open: Tuesday – Thursday 6pm – 10pm, Friday & Saturday evenings, and Sundays 12pm– 9pm.
