New Kosher Dairy Mediterranean Spot ‘Klio’ Coming to Queens

A new upscale kosher restaurant is making its debut in Forest Hills, Queens soon. Klio Restaurant & Bar, a dairy Mediterranean and Greek-inspired restaurant and bar, is opening on the corner of 70th Avenue and Queens Boulevard inside the Bukharian-owned “BLVD Condominiums,” just steps from the Bukharian Jewish Community Center.

Dairy-Focused Dining with Mediterranean Flair

Klio is spearheaded by members of the local Bukharian Jewish community, teaming up with a master chef from Israel to bring this new dining concept to life. While the full menu is yet to be revealed, Klio is expected to offer a high-end selection of dairy and fish dishes, including pasta, sushi, and a curated bar menu.

The name “Klio” (or its more common variant, “Clio”) is derived from Greek, referring to the muse of history and heroic poetry, symbolizing fame and glory, fitting for a concept that aims to elevate the kosher dairy dining scene in Queens.
