ROSIE Rooftop & Bakery Brings Kosher Dairy Dining to Jerusalem’s Rose Garden

Jerusalem’s kosher dining scene has a new rooftop. ROSIE rooftop & bakery, the new dairy restaurant from the Jacko’s Group, the team behind Jacko’s Street, was already serving guests by June 11, 2026 on the roof of the renovated building in the heart of the Wohl Rose Garden (Gan HaVradim), opposite the Knesset.

The restaurant sits one floor above the garden’s 15,000 roses, wrapped in glass walls with a large bar and sofa corners looking out over the city. The building itself stood abandoned for years in the middle of the Rose Garden before the Jacko’s team took it on. The group spent some four years renovating the structure into a restaurant and event complex with two restaurants: Rosie, the dairy rooftop, and Maleo, a meat restaurant on the ground floor that opened at the end of July with a menu mixing Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Asian dishes plus a separate sushi section.

The Menu

Chef Zakai Hoja leads Rosie’s kosher dairy kitchen, built around taboon pizzas, starters to share, fish, pastas, and desserts.

Ten pizzas run from ₪68 to ₪92. The Margherita (₪72) comes with San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, gouda, parmesan, and basil. The Olive Tree (₪84) adds olive tapenade, Kalamata olives, and Thassos olive powder. Green Like a Garden (₪86) is built on spinach pesto with baby zucchini, asparagus, mozzarella, pistachios, and stracciatella. The Bezalel (₪86) tops caramelized onion cream and buttered leeks with mozzarella and parmesan, while the Jacko Style (₪86) layers parmesan, raw tahini, honey, chili, pine nuts, and za’atar. King of the Garden (₪88) carries oyster, portobello, and shimeji mushrooms, and the Polenta Romana (₪92) combines creamed corn, artichokes, parmesan, brie, and mozzarella. The Marinera (₪68) is a vegan, cheese-free pie with San Marzano tomato sauce, garlic, basil, and oregano.

Starters range from ₪38 to ₪86 and include focaccia with porcini aioli (₪38), taboon-caramelized beets with cream cheese, hazelnuts, and pecorino (₪58), Zakai’s grape leaves with labneh (₪68), and a cherry tomato bruschetta with stracciatella (₪68). Fish dishes include the Beit Safafa bruschetta with sea-fish tartare, za’atar oil, pine nuts, and raw tahini (₪78) and a sea-fish carpaccio with cherry tomato salsa (₪82). Two pastas round out the savory side: rigatoni in a cherry tomato cream with stracciatella (₪76) and potato ravioli in a butter and white wine sauce (₪86).

Desserts (₪36 to ₪52) include a chocolate Basque cheesecake, a classic tiramisu, watermelon with Bulgarian feta, mint, and basil, and cream caramel with pine nut ice cream.

Cocktails, Bakery, and Events

The rooftop bar pours house cocktails from ₪48 to ₪60, including the Line 8 with white rum, peach, pineapple, and honey, and the Liran Migrashim with gin, arugula, ginger, and habanero, alongside classics like an Aperol Spritz, Negroni, Margarita, Whiskey Sour, and Espresso Martini.
