Fast-Casual Kosher Mexican “Little Lenny’s” Debuting in the Valley

New Fast-Casual Format From Lenny’s Casita in Los Angeles

Little Lenny’s is opening February 18 in Los Angeles as a standalone fast-casual restaurant, not a downsized version of Lenny’s Casita. While the two share ownership and culinary DNA, Little Lenny’s is intentionally designed as a different concept with a different goal.

This location is not focused on ambiance, nightlife, or a full dine-in experience. Instead, Little Lenny’s is built around speed, efficiency, and consistency, with an operational model that prioritizes takeout and delivery over in-house dining.

Lenny’s Casita originally evolved from a small ghost kitchen into a full-service restaurant with an expanded menu, bar service, and a large staff. As the operation grew, so did its complexity. Little Lenny’s was developed as a deliberate shift back to a simpler model that maintains food quality while making the concept easier to operate and scale.

Focused Mexican Menu Built for Speed

Little Lenny’s operates with a reduced Mexican menu designed for efficiency and high-volume ordering. Based on the current ordering menu, offerings include:

  • Tacos with multiple protein options and classic toppings
  • Burritos with rice, beans, sauces, and a choice of fillings, including a breakfast burrito
  • Build-your-own bowls with proteins, grains, and vegetables
  • Quesadillas and grilled items
  • Chips, salsa, guacamole, and additional sides
  • Beverages and add-ons; including frozen rosés, sangrias, and cervesas

The menu is structured to allow customization without expanding operational complexity, supporting faster preparation times and consistent output. More simple and cheaper menu compared to the main Lenny’s Casita location.

Delivery and Takeout First Model

Little Lenny’s features approximately 30 seats, but indoor dining is not the focus. The layout and service model are structured primarily for off-premise ordering, including takeout and delivery, with seating available as a convenience rather than a central feature.

This format is designed to work in locations where a full-service kosher restaurant may not be viable, creating opportunities for broader geographic expansion while keeping staffing and overhead requirements lower.

Positioning Within the Brand

Little Lenny’s functions as the fast-casual counterpart to Lenny’s Casita. The relationship mirrors a premium flagship concept paired with a simplified, more accessible version focused on everyday ordering and repeat visits. The emphasis remains on familiar Mexican flavors delivered through a more scalable operating model.

Location and Kosher Details

Little Lenny’s is located at 11923 Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, CA in the Valley. The restaurant is Glatt Kosher under OK supervision, operating under the same certification as Lenny’s Casita.
