PITMASTER Opening Two U.S. Locations in Late 2025

From Israel to the U.S.: Pitmaster Expanding

One of Israel’s most talked-about kosher meat experiences is finally making its way stateside. Pitmaster, the immersive, high-energy kosher dining brand that has taken Israel by storm, is officially heading to the U.S. with two new locations—Miami and New York City—expected to open by the end of 2025.

This marks Pitmaster’s first international expansion, bringing their signature dining concept to American audiences who crave both premium smoked meats and a high-energy, communal experience.

PITMASTER JERUSALEM

What Is Pitmaster?

For those unfamiliar, Pitmaster is more than just a restaurant—it’s a full-on meat lover’s event. Diners are seated at long, communal banquet tables where a designated pitmaster leads a curated seven-course meat tasting, paired with flowing wine, beer, and music that turns dinner into a party.

The experience typically lasts around two and a half hours and includes everything from smoked brisket to house sausages, ribs, and other fire-cooked cuts. Each course is served with flair, and the communal setup often leads to spontaneous dancing and table-wide toasts. Guests leave full, happy, and with a story to tell.

By the end of the night, it’s not unusual to find guests out of their seats, celebrating together as if they’ve known each other for years. It’s part restaurant, part celebration—and it’s uniquely Israeli.

Pitmaster in Israel

Pitmaster currently operates multiple branches across Israel, including in Jerusalem, Petach Tikvah, and Be’er Sheva. Each location is certified kosher, with varying local certifications depending on the city. The brand has built a loyal following not just for the quality of its smoked meats, but for delivering an experience that’s equal parts dinner and entertainment.

Their popularity has led to sold-out nights and months-long reservation waits in Israel, making this expansion highly anticipated by kosher foodies in the U.S.

What is the Pitmaster Experience?

On my recent trip to Israel, I was fortunate enough to bring my family into the Jerusalem Pitmaster for a “show” – a nearly 3-hour dinner experience that I, my wife, and both my boys loved. Multiple courses of various meat dishes, Israeli music blasting with participants dancing, tributes to the IDF soldiers serving in Gaza (at the time of our visit in August), and participatory courses where some of the guests are invited behind the counter to help prep.

New Locations: Miami and NYC

The upcoming U.S. expansion includes two new kosher locations. The Miami location will open in Aventura and is expected to take over the space previously occupied by the now-closed kosher restaurant, Street Hibachi, in the Waterways Shoppes.

The New York City branch is planned for the area near Madison Square Garden, placing it in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, just steps away from Penn Station, Times Square, Chelsea, and Koreatown. While the specific address hasn’t yet been revealed, the NYC location will bring Pitmaster’s show-stopping meat experience to one of the busiest areas in the country.

Both restaurants are expected to offer the same communal, seven-course experience, complete with unlimited drinks, upbeat music, and plenty of smoked meat.

What’s Next?

Both locations are expected to open by the end of 2025. As we get closer to the openings, we’ll be sharing more updates on specific addresses, hours of operation, kosher certifications, reservation info, and more.

If you’ve been waiting for a high-end kosher meat experience that goes beyond the usual steakhouse vibes, Pitmaster is ready to deliver something new.
