Judd’s Memphis Kitchen Replacing “Heimish on Central” in the 5 Towns

Judd’s famous $100 Burger

The popular caterer and former kosher cart operator on the streets of NYC, Judd’s Memphis Kitchen, is finally getting a physical storefront, in the 5 Towns. The new eatery will be replacing the short lived Heimish on Central Ave, which had recently closed.

Judd’s will have between 30-40 seats, offer quick counter service, and be sticking to their core menu of their signature smoked brisket, “crack” fried chicken, and the famous “$100 burger”… all as sandwiches. The menu will also include fun specials that will make brief appearances, but not be permanent fixtures.

Judd himself is adamant that his eatery is not a smokehouse… “we are a ‘kitchen’… making great food that isn’t limited to one style or cuisine.”

For fans Heimish’s Thursday night cholent and pre-Shabbos fare, Judd’s will be keeping the tradition and bringing their version of those dishes to the space. The new restaurant aims to be open late … among the latest options open on Central.

Additionally, Judd’s will still be available for catering work in the region.

Judd’s is aiming for an opening date after Tisha B’Av.

Judd’s Memphis Kitchen will be kosher certified by the 5 Towns Vaad.
