In a conversation yesterday with the manager at Clubhouse Cafe, located right in heart of Manhattan in Times Square, it was confirmed that the restaurant will be closing this week, serving its last customers this Thursday night, 5/24/12.
The restaurant, with same ownership as Le Marais across the street, is not closing due to poor business or finances. Rather, the building was sold and is being converted into a mall.
The manager assured me that they are in process of looking for a new location and will seek to reopen within the next 6 months. YeahThatsKosher.com will keep an eye out for these future developments on the reopening of Clubhouse Cafe in the near future.
