The New Jersey State Fair finally has kosher food available!
The Shakshooka truck (typically based in Teaneck, NJ) is now offering its kosher food to patrons of the state fair from now until July 9th.
As expected, the Shakshooka truck offers a whole bunch of different shakshukas. The Basic Shakshooka comes with two organic eggs over tomato sauce, onions, peppers, and garlic. Shakshooka Olives comes with two eggs over tomato sauce, onions, peppers, garlic, and green or black eggs. Mushroom, falafel, and hummus varieties are also available.
Hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday from 11am-10pm, and Friday from 11am-2 hours before Shabbat.
The Shakshooka truck is certified by Rabbi Leasches of the Lubavitch in Monsey.
