Oak & Ember and Oak Express, two kosher restaurants in the Boca Raton area, have been sold. Chef Smiley, Chef Mike, and the KosherBoca Ownership Group announced the sale on April 12, 2026, after five years in operation.
If you have outstanding Oak & Ember gift cards or certificates, Carmela’s will honor them through October 31, 2026.
The same ownership group continues to operate Carmela’s and Rave Pizza, as well as onsite and offsite catering. No details have been shared about the new ownership or the future of the Oak & Ember and Oak Express spaces. We’ll update this post when more information is available.
