Lots of news from the Upper West Side this week. In addition to Amsterdam Burger’s recently announced location change, Talia’s Steakhouse has announced a shawarma venture in the eatery’s former bar area.
Shawarma Shabazi, named after a Tel Aviv neighborhood of the same name, will serve shawarma, falafel, and sabich in a fast-casual environment. The restaurant is currently in its soft opening phase, with a grand opening to be announced soon.
