Located south of Cancun and Playa del Carmen on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula is Tulum, another beautiful vacation destination. Though it doesn’t have quite as much kosher food as its neighbors to the north, a new meat restaurant recently opened for brunch, lunch, and dinner.
Yafe offers a mix of authentic Mexican cuisine and Israeli favorites, which includes huevos fritos, chilaquiles, falafel, steak, and kebabs.
Yafe is located at Ave. Tulum y calle 12 sur, Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
It is kosher certified by Rabbi Elihau Barim and is Chalak Beit Yosef.
Yafe is open Monday-Friday 11am-6:30pm, and Sunday 12:30pm to 4:30pm.
