Doughnut Plant Opening 2 New Locations in Downtown NYC

The popular, growing, and newly kosher donut chain, Doughnut Plant, is in process of opening two new locations in lower Manhattan: a second location on the Lower East Side (LES) and a location inside the Oculus, a mall by Westfield which is a part of the World Trade Center complex in the Financial District.

The Market Line at Essex Crossing
  1. The new Lower East Side location will be inside The Market Line, a part of Essex Crossing – a new development under way bringing new residences, office space, and retailers to the area. Entrance to The Market Line is at 125 Delancey St.

  2. The location inside the beautiful Oculus building will be on the Balcony (upper) level, next door to Sugarfina, near the connection to the to Fulton Center on the east end of the mall. The Oculus is located at 185 Greenwich St. next to 3 WTC between Greenwich and Church Aves, between Fulton & Dey Streets.

This makes the total number of Doughnut Plants in NYC seven (7) including the original Lower East Side location, Grand Central Station, Hotel Chelsea, Brooklyn, and Long Island City (Queens).

Doughnut Plant’s Coconut Cream square donuts are amazing!

No official opening date for either location, but the store says it hopes for Spring 2019 openings at both locations. Both timelines are currently determined by construction.

The Doughnut Plant chain only serves donuts and coffee and has obtained kashrut supervision by UKS (United Kosher Supervision) as kosher dairy (non-Cholov Yisroel).
