A new kosher restaurant opened on May 15th in Los Angeles, and this one is taking the farm to table mantra to heart. Origin Cafe has committed to providing diners with healthy and fresh food. Fish will be coming directly from fishermen, produce from farmers, and most ingredients are organic from local sources.
Lunch items include Moroccan spiced salmon tacos, goat cheese and caramelized onion croquettes, blistered shishito peppers, and roasted pumpkin. There are also a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads. Dessert items include bread pudding, ice cream, sous vide vanilla peaches, and mandelbrot.
Menu is seasonal.
Origin Cafe is open Monday-Thursday from 7am-4pm, Fridays from 7am-3pm, and Sundays from 8am-3pm.
