In the world of kosher catering, it’s rare to find something as memorable and accessible as Giddy’s Pizza Truck. For my sister’s recent Sheva Brachot on Long Island, we decided to invite Giddy’s Pizza & Café all the way from New Jersey – and it was one of the best decisions we could have made for the celebration.
Their mobile kitchen pulled up in front of the house, fired up the oven, and started turning out artisanal sourdough pizzas, fresh pastas, and indulgent sides right on our doorstep. Watching dough rolled, topped, and baked before us while guests mingled and enjoyed themselves.

On‑site dining experience
What makes the Giddy’s Pizza Truck stand out is its ability to bring nearly a full restaurant experience to nearly any location in the New York & New Jersey area. Their team set up outside the house, and within moments, the scent of wood burning filled the air. The truck itself includes a wood‑fired oven and all the equipment necessary to prepare and serve everything on their menu. Guests receive hot food that hasn’t been sitting in trays. Pizzas come out with perfectly blistered crusts and hot cheese, pastas are prepared al dente in rich sauces, and even fried items like buffalo cauliflower stay crispy and flavorful because they’re cooked moments before serving.
Menu variety to satisfy every palate

Giddy’s offers a customizable menu that helps you tailor your event to your guests’ tastes. On the sourdough pizza side, diners can choose from classics like Margherita, Round Cheese, and Garden, or more adventurous options like Truffle Mushroom, BBQ with veg bites, and Pepperoncino, which adds banana peppers, caramelized onions, and roasted mushrooms to a perfect sourdough base. You can mix and match four pizza styles for your event, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
Beyond pizza, the truck’s pasta options bring Italian comfort food to your backyard. We sampled rich Penne Vodka, creamy Fettuccini Alfredo, earthy Pesto Alfredo, and a spicier Tortellini Vodka. Each pasta was prepared to order, so there was no overcooked pasta or congealed sauces; every plate was fresh, creamy, and satisfying.

The fried bites were another crowd‑pleaser. Guests raved about the Buffalo Cauliflower, featuring crispy fried florets tossed in homemade buffalo sauce and served with ranch for dipping. The hand‑cut Mozzarella Stix were golden and gooey, while Truffle Fries provided a gourmet twist. For the more decadent eaters, Ryder Fries loaded hand‑cut fries with pico de gallo, Impossible beef, and a savory sauce. The menu also allows you to select simpler hand‑cut fries if you want to keep it classic.
To round out the meal, Giddy’s includes salad options like Crispy Sweet Potato (with candied pecans, grape tomatoes, feta, and lemon honey vinaigrette), Greek Quinoa, Caesar, and Garden. They also bring Falafel served with hummus, Israeli salad, tehina, and pita, plus desserts including Ice Cream (vanilla, chocolate, or coffee), chewy Chocolate Chunk Cookies, and Zeppoles – pillowy fried donuts that are the perfect sweet finish.

Perfect for small or large simchas
One of the biggest concerns when booking a mobile food truck is capacity, but Giddy’s proved they can handle nearly any size event, including up to 600-700 guests. For our gathering of around fifty people, service was quick, and everyone ate as much as they wanted. If you’re planning a larger celebration like a wedding, bar mitzvah, or corporate party, Giddy’s can increase staff and prep to serve hundreds of guests. They can operate outdoors for a summer backyard party or indoors at an event hall or synagogue.
