Announced back in November, Novo Steakhouse is coming to the 5 Towns, taking over the upscale eatery, MUR on Central Ave in Lawrence. The company behind Novo is a French restaurant conglomerate and this will be their first kosher restaurant in either France or the US. MUR’s current owner is staying involved with Novo to bring kosher expertise to the business.
MUR will remain open through January 14th. Afterward, the restaurant will be expanding to both the left and right of the current MUR footprint to make an expansive kosher French steakhouse. This also means that the Akimori pop-up in the 5 Towns has closed.
Novo Steakhouse expects to open in mid-February 2024. Stayed tuned for updates.

Novo Steakhouse will be kosher-certified by the Vaad of the 5 Towns.
