CLOSING: “Cinnamon Snail” Kosher Vegan Food Truck in NYC

Cinnamon-snail-truck-nycCinnamon Snail, a kosher vegan food truck, announced last week on their Facebook page (scroll down for post) that they will be ending its run at the end of February after 5 years of serving kosher & vegan diners in Manhattan and the surrounding areas.

According to that post, they were not able to secure an extension to their food truck license in NYC, which seems to be a longer story of Cinnamon Snail’s owners getting rooked by the truck’s previous owner.

It seems that the truck may still be used in locations in NJ and otherwise outside of NYC, but its NYC operations are indefinitely ending on February 28th.

In addition to vegan fare, Cinnamon Snail was known for baked goods, especially donuts:

  • I lived in NYC from 2011-14 and would have happy patronized Cinnamon Snail had I known it existed. Am sorry to miss you.
