The team behind Otoro, the popular Queens-based kosher sushi restaurant, is heading to Florida—launching a brand-new high-end omakase destination on 41st Street in Miami Beach, with a projected opening in Fall 2025.
Known for its seasonally driven and creatively plated sushi in NYC, Otoro is aiming to elevate Miami’s kosher dining scene with a completely new concept. While some signature staples from the Otoro NYC menu may make the trip south, the Miami menu will be entirely its own, crafted specifically for the new location. The sushi bar, however, will likely maintain more visual and culinary similarities to the original Queens location, offering guests a familiar yet refined omakase experience.
This Miami expansion highlights the growing demand for elevated kosher experiences in South Florida, particularly in the 41st Street corridor, which continues to draw both tourists and local foodies. Otoro Miami will offer a premium omakase tasting journey, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to innovation, flavor, and detail.
