Trader Joe’s List of Kosher Products Made in Israel

Of late, food products made in Israel have become something of a political hot potato, with anti-Israel protesters calling for boycotts of Israeli-made products. In response, we should be going out of our way to “BUYCOTT” Israeli products whenever possible.

We asked Shelley Serber, founder of the popular online group Kosher Trader Joe’s about the shop’s Israeli products: “Trader Joe’s brings in products from all over the world, which is why you see so many varied hechsherim. Seeing so many Israeli products is incredible – some items we’ve all grown up on, and now being shared with so many more.”

Supporting Israeli Products at Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s has been known to import and white label really great foods from around the world, kosher and otherwise. They have in fact imported a number of excellent kosher products made in Israel, which not only support the Israeli economy but also bring high-quality and unique flavors to your kitchen in North America.

However, we’ve witnessed defacing of Israeli products at select TJ’s locations. As a result, Trader Joe’s is taking action:

  • TJs Corporate has sent out memo’s nationwide this past month to ensure that the stores are on a lookout for stickers/signage etc that doesn’t align with their ethos.
  • On a store level, they are constantly looking at shelves/products to ensure nothing hateful is attached or added.

All the more reason to shop at your local TJ’s and find local Israeli products to bring home.

Here are six Israeli kosher products at Trader Joe’s you should consider:

Join the Reverse Boycott

By purchasing these products, you are participating in a reverse boycott to show support for Israeli businesses. It’s a small but impactful way to contribute positively during challenging times.
