BOUTIQUE FOOD TOURS TO ISRAEL

DEC 7-15, 2022 & JUNE 21-29, 2023

SAVOR TOURS has two upcoming Israel tours for the kosher cook and foodie. Led by 5x cookbook author Paula Shoyer (aka The Kosher Baker) and Rina Salzman, each trip is filled with daily hands-on cooking or baking tutorials, tastings, and activities with some of Israel’s best cooks and chefs.

Each day will involve a new teacher and class, learning to cook different dishes and meals. As the resident chef/leader, Paula Shoyer is assisting the teachers and sharing shortcuts and other tips and how to prepare the recipes when back home.

The tour is small – a maximum of 16 people. This means that in every cooking class, every participant is cooking. This is not a tour where you watch the chef cook and sit there; all the classes are hands-on.

The trip is designed for people who have already been to Israel but want a reason to go back and engage with Israel & Israelis in a new way – through cooking with them and hearing their stories. Every past participant on this program previously has returned home, cooking the recipes they learned. Everyone has improved their cooking skills.

In addition to the cooking and tasting tours, every day there is an optional workout such as yoga, pilates, walk/run, hike, and even Israeli dancing or krav maga self-defense training.
