Citron & Rose Tavern & Market in Philly’s Suburbs is Now Open [Soft Opening]

Announced last year, The Tavern was purchased to become the next C&R Kitchen, which had closed down in late 2016. The new high end glatt kosher restaurant in Philadelphia’s Bala Cynwyd suburbs, Citron & Rose Tavern & Market, is now open.

The restaurant is currently under a soft opening stage serving only dinner for the coming weeks. Call 610-257-7577 for reservations.

The market section of the restaurant is currently not open.

Currently, the main section of the restaurant seats about 50 with another private room upstairs that can seat an additional 40-50 people.

The restaurant’s menu features tavern/bar food like wings, fried pickles, beef chili, chips and dips (including hummus), and entrees that include braised short beef ribs, chicken and biscuits, rack of lamb, New York strip steak, beer battered fish and chips, pulled chicken slides, the Tavern burger, and many more options. Citron & Rose Tavern & Market is kosher under the Keystone-K (Community Kashrus of Greater Philadelphia).
