Amsterdam Burger Co. Has Permanently Closed in the 5 Towns

Amsterdam-Burger-Co-kosher-5towns-cedarhurst-nyAfter nearly a year constructing the 5 Towns branch of Amsterdam Burger Co., the burger restaurant launched this past December and never really took off within the community. It is clear that the Long Island restaurant struggled in the area, and as a result, they have officially closed its doors as they’ve announced on Facebook (see below) this week.

For now, fans of Amsterdam Burger Co.  should head to their original location on the Upper West Side, which is alive and doing quite well.

  • I heard that they were cooking in the 5 towns store for the Manhattan store, guess this means going back to fresh cooked on site at 91st Street.
Mike is such a talent, surprised the Lawrence crowd did not go for his product. Mike’s Bistro seems to have lots of 5 towns customers too. Maybe what works for sophisticated singles in Manhattan does not work for their younger siblings in the suburbs!
