Using AirBNB to Stay in (Frum) Jewish Neighborhoods

QUEENS:

In Forest Hills / Rego Park, there were numerous options, but again, like in most of Brooklyn, nearly all of the options are rooms. I found 2 entire apartments for rent at reasonable prices in the area.

In the entire Kew Gardens Hills neighborhood, there’s 1 property found, and it’s an entire home, which is nice.

Hillcrest / near Jamaica Estates seems to have a bunch of listings, but only 3 were entire homes, and those ranged in price from $125, to $575, to $800 … per night!

The Jewish area of Far Rockaway had nothing.

NOTE: AirBNB listings in NYC (and some other locations) are illegal if they are operated solely for the purpose of renting out on a short term basis, essentially competing directly with hotels. Those renting out their primary residence temporarily are not violating the law in NY. Because of that (and other reasons), there are not all that many listings in the NYC area (especially in the outer boroughs), let alone in the Jewish areas.
