UPDATE: The Jacksonville location will be opening over Labor Day weekend 2014.

It’s being reported by GreatKosherRestaurants that the relatively new Miami Beach hot dog restaurant has announced it’s opening a 3rd location in Jacksonville, before their 2nd location in Boca Raton has even opened its doors (which it plans on opening within the next 3-4 weeks).
The House of Dog brand is only a couple years old and is aggressively expanding northbound. The Jacksonville location is set to open in approximately 6 weeks.
This is only Jacksonville’s 2nd kosher restaurant in addition to Jerusalem Grill.
While the original Miami Beach location is under the kosher supervision of Kosher Miami (KM) – The Va’ad HaKashrus of Miami-Dade, we are still waiting to learn who will be supervising this location. Will update this post with that info as it becomes available.
Correction: Jerusalem Grill is located in Ormond Beach, FL (Daytona area) which is about an hour or so south of Jax. House of Dog will be Jacksonville’s only kosher restaurant …for now.
