Lamed Vav: New French-American Steakhouse in Great Neck, NY

Lamed Vav, a new upscale French-American Restaurant is now open in Great Neck, NY. Named for the 36 tzaddikim that exist in every generation (Lamed Vav is 36 in the Hebrew alphabet),  it will be the only French-American kosher steakhouse in the area, replacing the now closed Bistro Grill. The owner, Alex Levine, who also owns Brasserie HaLevi in the Five Towns, says he aims to “elevate kosher cuisine” in the Great Neck area. He will also be opening a bakery called Levine Patisserie and Cafe on Middle Neck Road.
