New Restaurant in Stamford, CT: Six Thirteen

Six Thirteen Restaurant has officially opened in Stamford, Connecticut, taking the status & the building of former sixthirteenKosher restaurant “Kosh.” The name Six Thirteen is a reference to the 613 commandments in the Torah, a clever play on words. Hopefully they’ll be able to bring 613 flavors to the table.

On the menu they have braised beef short ribs (um, yum), herb grilled salmon, and a bone-in ribeye, all moderately priced. There is also a pretty extensive drinks menu, including liquor, beer, wine, and cocktails.

Six Thirteen is open from Sunday-Thursday, from 5 pm to 10 pm, and their bar is open until midnight on Thursdays. They are under the kashrus supervision of the Orthodox Union (OU).
