Miami Area Kosher Restaurant News: 2 Newly Opened; 1 No Longer Kosher

Newly opened in the Miami area:

  1. KOSH (no relation to the restaurant in Stamford, CT) – Located in Surfside near the posh Bal Harbour, is a fancy eatery billing itself as a steakhouse / bistro / sushi / tapas restaurant. It is run by the former manager of nearby Harbor Grill. Click here to view their their dinner menu. Kosh also offers prepaid Shabbat meals in the restaurant – must be paid by Thursday @ 6pm.
  2. Mama’s Pizza and Coffee Shop – Located in North Miami Beach. They serve a variety of pizzas, salads, paninis, fries, falafel and more.

Recently closed:

  1. Extravaganza Pastry and Cafe in Aventura is no longer certified by Kosher Dairy Miami and it appears that they will not remain to be a kosher establishment.
