Soom Soom is open at Lexington Ave and 56th st. in NYC.
Personally, I think it’s the best kosher falafel in New York.
The salad bar has a larger selection than the uptown sister store – this includes, among other things, beets, guacamole and fried cauliflower.
The staff was friendly. Service was good and fast.
They are cash only for right now, credit card machine is coming within next week or two. i did not have cash in pocket and without missing a beat, Shlomo, nephew of the owner told me to pay next time. no phone yet. sign on the outside is not up yet. inside the store is completely finished and full operational.
They are closed Shabbat & Yom Tov.
