Muhlenberg College Opens Kosher Restaurant on Campus – The Noshery

August 25th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Announcements, PA, USA by Dani Klein - Admin

Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, a Lutheran College with only 2,200 students, has never had a reliable Kosher restaurant. Now, students at Muhlenberg can eat kosher food at “The Noshery” in the campus’ Seegers Union, where students can use their dining plan – i.e. not pay extra – to dine there.

Jewish students make up more than 33% of Muhlenberg’s student body.

Muhlenberg College is suddenly a campus that more Orthodox students can consider when looking for liberal arts colleges in the North East.

Guest Review: Yummy Yummy in NYC

August 19th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Announcements, NY, Reviews, USA by Dani Klein - Admin

Guest Review by: Shannon Sarna

Unfortunately, Yummy Yummy does not live up to its name.

  • The Bureka was soggy.
  • The Israeli salad was completely tasteless.
  • The Staff seemed frazzled and inexperienced, despite being open for many weeks now.
  • I almost got bowled over by a large box of cucumbers while trying to pay.

Not a particularly pleasant dining experience.
